ProtecTIER Enterprise
ProtecTIER Enterprise is Diligent’s flagship solution and has been shipping since mid-year 2005. Capable of 25X or more capacity increases, 450MB/s of inline throughput performance, and scalability up to 1PB of physical storage, the ProtecTIER Enterprise de-duplication platform was designed from the group up to address the demands of the Enterprise Data Center.

The ProtecTIER Enterprise solution is available in tiers based on capacity, and includes the following specifications:

• Up to 1PB physical storage support (25PB usable capacity with de-duplication)
• Up to 450MB/s throughput performing inline data de-duplication
• Up to 256 Virtual Tape Drives
• Up to 16 Virtual Tape Libraries

ProtecTIER Mid-Range
The ProtecTIER Mid-Range offerings deliver the power of ProtecTIER to mid-sized environments at an affordable price, and in easily-deployable configurations.

The ProtecTIER Mid-Range Offerings are available in two configurations from Diligent’s network of channel partners.

Mid-Range Entry Package Includes:

• Up to 8TB physical and 200TB usable capacity
• Up to 12 Virtual Tape Drives
• Up to 2 Virtual Tape Libraries

Mid-Range Standard Package Includes:

• Up to 20TB physical and 500TB usable capacity
• Up to 16 Virtual Tape Drives
• Up to 4 Virtual Tape Libraries
