Certification provides customers with heightened security and data assurance

New York, March 7, 2022 — Diligent, the global leader in modern governance providing SaaS solutions across governance, risk, compliance and ESG, is pleased to announce that it has obtained ISO 27001 certification of its information security management system (ISMS) supporting the HighBond Global Commercial Platform. ISO certification provides Diligent customers with an additional layer of assurance that Diligent’s security controls and practices meet globally recognized standards.

The 27001 certification over the HighBond Global Commercial Platform comes in addition to the 27001 certification that Diligent already maintains over its Diligent Boards Services, BoardEffect Services, Diligent Entities Services, Diligent Equity Services, Secure File Share/Secure Meeting Workflow Services, Modules Services, Board Level Consulting Services, Concierge-level Training and Support Services, and Electronic Hosting Services, which were originally certified in 2014.

ISO 27001 is an international standard for the establishment and certification of an ISMS. The standard specifies the requirements for establishing, implementing, operating, monitoring, reviewing, maintaining and improving a documented ISMS within the context of the organization’s overall business risks. Organizations that meet this standard have a proven robust and secure approach to handling and protecting customer data.

The certification was performed by Schellman & Company, LLC, an ANAB and UKAS accredited Certification Body based in the United States. Details of Diligent’s ISMS certification are publicly available in Schellman & Company’s ISO certificate directory.
