Anderson brings experience as board director with leadership acumen in ESG, brand and risk

New York, March 10, 2022 — Diligent, a global leader in modern governance providing SaaS solutions across governance, risk, compliance and ESG, today announces the appointment of Christine Anderson as its newest independent board member. Anderson is the Global Head of External Relations at Blackstone, overseeing the company's public affairs, marketing and ESG efforts. She currently serves on the boards of Bumble Inc. (NASDAQ: BMBL), Cold Spring Harbor Laboratory and the Blackstone Charitable Foundation.

Anderson brings extensive public affairs, marketing and Environmental, Social and Corporate Governance (ESG) expertise from leadership roles in the investment sector, state and federal government and media industry. Prior to her current position at Blackstone, Anderson held political communications roles with the former Governor of New York, the Kerry-Edwards presidential campaign and the Clinton White House. She has also worked in other investment communications and media roles, including with UBS AG and ABC News.
