Engineering industry leader to build Diligent's Hungarian workforce and oversee its new facility

BUDAPEST - March 22, 2021 - Diligent Corporation, the leader in modern governance with a platform used by nearly 700,000 board directors and leaders has selected Julia Szatmari as the head of its new Center for Global Product Innovation in Budapest. With more than 20 years of leadership experience in R&D and organizational development, Julia will serve as the Senior Vice President of Engineering and will take a lead role in building and leading a workforce of approximately 300 Hungarians across a variety of technology functions.

In addition to building the Hungarian workforce, Julia will lead the software development organization at the Center for Global Product Innovation. She will also guide product modernization efforts across the Diligent product suite as well as work with other technology leaders to help drive growth. Prior to joining Diligent, Julia led the development team for software developer EMARSYS. She also held various leadership positions at Nokia including global R&D and customer support. She completed her studies in mathematics and information technology at Eötvös Lorand University.
