Giving back to families of fallen veterans

This Veterans Day, Inside America’s Boardrooms takes a pause from discussing important boardroom and governance issues to honor all military personnel, past and present, and to salute Bonnie Carroll, founder and president of the Tragedy Assistance Program for Survivors (TAPS).

Carroll, who has received the Presidential Medal of Freedom and is a veteran and widow herself, started TAPS to provide care, welfare and support for those who have lost a loved one in military service. Her story and efforts to improve benefits for our nation’s heroes will touch us all.
